Andrew V. Agostini is a principal and owner of JL Woode, Ltd., LLC, a full service real estate investment, development and management firm with offices in Chicago, Illinois and Charleston, South Carolina.  He oversees much of the firm’s administration from the Chicago, Illinois office. Prior to the establishment of JL Woode, Ltd., in 2006, Mr. Agostini was the President and Chief Operating Officer of Jupiter Realty Corporation.  He participated with the other owners of Jupiter in the firm’s acquisitions, dispositions and other key activities.  Prior to joining Jupiter in 1983, Mr. Agostini worked in the hotel management group of Hilton International.  His operational activities for Hilton, particularly in the food and beverage operations, took him across Europe and the Middle East to cities such as Khartoum, Dubai, Paris, London and Trinidad.  Mr. Agostini was a partner in Sun-Times Media Holdings, the acquirers of the Chicago Sun-Times out of bankruptcy in 2009. Mr. Agostini is on the Board of Directors of Hostmark Hospitality Group of Schaumburg, Illinois and Chalmers Insurance Company of Charleston, South Carolina.  He is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Illinois Institute of Technology and a member of the Max McGraw Wildlife Foundation. Mr. Agostini was born and educated in the United Kingdom.

Tony Colletti is the Chief Operating Officer of 3867 Partners, LLC, a private investment firm specialized in the acquisition and turnaround of mid-sized US companies.  He also leads Colletti & Associates, a national governmental relations consulting firm. With 30 years’ experience designing and implementing public affairs strategies, corporate leadership and crisis management Tony Colletti is considered one of the premier government relations experts and business consultants in Illinois and in the US. Tony served as the executive vice president of the Community Financial Services Association (CFSA) where he was responsible for the state and federal legislative effort of the micro loan segment of the consumer financial services industry and supervised 105 government affairs and public relations professionals in 50 states and Puerto Rico. In 2007 alone, Tony monitored more than 280 bill introductions in state capitals all over the country and provided testimony and negotiated legislation in state legislatures and on Capitol Hill.  Additionally, Tony served as the national industry spokesman and liaison to the Council of State Bank Supervisors, the National Association of Consumer Credit Administrators and national state legislator associations. Prior to joining CFSA, Tony served as a government relations specialist and practiced business and real estate development law for a number of firms and associations. Tony was a member of the Board of Directors of Advance America, Cash Advance Centers, Inc. (NYSE: AEA) until its sale in 2011 and also served as a Member’s representative to the Board of Managers of Sun Times Media Holdings, LLC (parent of the Chicago Sun Times newspaper) until its sale in 2011. Tony began his career as a general practice attorney and later as legal counsel in the Office of Governmental Affairs at the Illinois Department of Commerce and Community Affairs. Tony earned a B.S., summa cum laude, from Bradley University and a J.D., cum laude, from the University of Notre Dame Law School. He is a member of the Illinois and Florida Bar Associations.

Jeremy L. Halbreich serves as Founder, Chairman and CEO of AIM Media Texas LLC, the holding company for daily and weekly newspapers and digital products serving the markets of Odessa, McAllen, Harlingen, Brownsville, Weslaco and South Padre Island in Texas.  These assets were purchased from Freedom Communications, Inc. in early 2012. Earlier in his career, he spent 24 years at The Dallas Morning News including the last ten as President and General Manager.  During this period of time, The Morning News won six Pulitzer Prizes, ranked #1 in the U.S. in full-run advertising volumes and ranked #7 and #8 in Sunday and daily paid circulation, respectively. In 1998 Jeremy founded American Consolidated Media LP, which grew to more than 100 community daily and weekly newspapers and affiliated web sites in ten states across the U.S. He sold ACM in 2007 to Macquarie Media Group of Sydney, Australia, and remained under the new ownership structure for 18 months to oversee a four-fold expansion in the size of the company. In early 2009 Jeremy was elected Chairman and CEO of Sun-Times Media Group, Inc. when it was still a publicly-traded company.  He led the company through a voluntary Chapter 11 bankruptcy proceeding, successfully restructured the business and attracted new capital to the business through a 363 Sale of the newspaper, digital and real estate assets to a group of local Chicago investors led by the late Jim Tyree of Mesirow Financial.  From late 2009 through 2011, Jeremy served as Vice Chairman and CEO and then as Chairman and CEO of Sun-Times Media Holdings LLC. Jeremy currently serves as Vice Chairman and Lead Director at Victoria Enterprises of Victoria, Texas, and on the Board of Directors at Texas Community Newspapers of Longview, Texas, American Community Newspapers of Plano, Texas, and Prommis Solutions of Atlanta, Georgia.  Earlier in his career, he served on the Board of Directors of The Advertising Council of New York, New York, Audit Bureau of Circulations of Chicago, Illinois, and LibreDigital of Austin, Texas.  He is past president of Texas Daily Newspaper Association and he was inducted into the Texas Newspaper Hall of Fame in 2013. Over his almost 40 years in Dallas, he has served in leadership positions and on the Board of Directors at numerous non-profit organizations supporting social services, medicine and the arts including United Way, YMCA, Community Council, Goodwill Industries, Dallas Center for the Performing Arts, Dallas Parks Foundation, Dallas Symphony, Dallas Opera, Dallas Arboretum and for over 25 years on the Board of Trustees at the Dallas Museum of Art with two years as President and four years as Chairman.

Michael Nortman is founder and President of Crossroads Development Partners.  Michael has earned a solid reputation as one of the most reliable real estate executives in the Chicagoland area.  Mr. Nortman has been involved in over $1 Billion of real estate ownership and development and currently has over $100 Million in projects underway.  In addition, Crossroads, through its SVN Crossroads Property Management division currently manages over 2 Million square feet of property for third party clients.  In 2005, Michael co-founded Florida Land Fund Holdings, LLC (FLF).  FLF currently owns and manages over 1,000 apartment units (www.rentfrontier.com) and over 500,000 sf of commercial property.  In addition, FLF is developing several properties throughout the state of Florida. FLF has offices in Jupiter, Florida. Prior to forming Crossroads, he was a Principal and Vice President of Development for Mid-America Development Partners, LLC (MIDAM).  In that capacity, he was responsible for the acquisition of commercial, mixed-use and redevelopment projects and supervised the due diligence and entitlement process for MIDAM. Before joining MIDAM, Mr. Nortman was Vice President and Counsel of Whiteco Residential, LLC, a real estate development company affiliated with Whiteco Industries that is one of the largest apartment developers in the United States.  During his five years at Whiteco, he was responsible for acquisition, disposition and coordination of development projects valued at more than $200 million.  He also coordinated all legal matters for Whiteco. Mr. Nortman is a licensed attorney in the State of Illinois, a licensed real estate broker and a member/shareholder of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. In addition, he serves as a trustee for various private real estate trusts and an advisor to several privately held real estate companies. A native Chicagoan, Mr. Nortman is a graduate of Northwestern University and The John Marshall Law School. He is involved in many civic and philanthropic organizations including Jewish United Fund, the Holocaust Museum of Southwest Florida and the Illinois Holocaust Museum in Skokie, Illinois. He resides in Northbrook, Illinois with his wife Nicole and three children.

Richard S. Price serves as chairman and chief executive officer of Mesirow Financial. Richard joined Mesirow Financial in 1972, establishing the firm’s insurance services business, which began in life insurance and expanded to include employee benefits, property and casualty and structured settlements. He was appointed president of the firm’s insurance agency in 1982 and initiated a growth strategy which included 19 acquisitions, the development of several niche practice groups and the group’s standing as the largest independent insurance agency in Chicago. He has also been a member of Mesirow Financial’s board of directors since its inception in 1987 and joined the Executive Committee when it was formed in 1997. Richard continued to expand his responsibilities for the firm beyond insurance, and was subsequently named president and chief operating officer in 2006 and chairman and chief executive officer in 2011. Richard actively supports many community and philanthropic organizations. Currently, he is vice chair of the Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce, sits on the board of directors of World Business Chicago and The Executives’ Club of Chicago, and is a member of The Economic Club of Chicago and The Commercial Club of Chicago. He was appointed to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum (USHMM) Council by President Barack Obama and is a member of the Executive Committee. He was also appointed to the Cook County Economic Advisory Council by Cook County Board President Toni Preckwinkle and to the Illinois Sports Facilities Authority Board by Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel. Richard sits on the board of trustees of Rush University Medical Center, and the board of directors of the James Tyree Foundation and Big Shoulders Fund. He is a member of the Children’s Place Leadership Advisory Council and the American Cancer Society’s CEOs against Cancer. Richard currently serves as the Regional Midwest Co-Chair of the National Campaign Committee and the Corporate Co-Chair of 20th Anniversary Chicago for the USHMM, the Capital Campaign Co-Chair for the Jesse White Community Center and the Legacy of Learning Campaign Co-Chair for Mercy Home for Boys and Girls. He is a member of the Business Council of the Art Institute of Chicago, a Midwest Executive Committee member of the Foundation Fighting Blindness and a national board member of the American Friends of the Israel Sport Center for the Disabled.

Edward Ross began his career in the mechanical construction industry in Chicago, Illinois. His firm, Economy Mechanical Industries, merged into a division of Jupiter Industries, a conglomerate company in manufacturing, transportation, gas distribution, construction and real estate development, with revenues in excess of one billion dollars annually, excluding real estate. Having served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Jupiter Industries for 30 years, Mr. Ross participated in the development, acquisition and supervision of a multitude of major transactions. In Chicago alone, transactions included the 676 St. Clair office building, Carl Sandburg Village, 2800 Lake Shore Drive, McClurg Court Center, 5455 North Sheridan, 3450 Lake Shore Drive, 525 Hawthorne Place and Outer Drive East. He was also personally involved with Holiday Inn Chicago City Centre, Holiday Inn Chicago Mart Plaza, The Drake Hotel, the Palmolive Building and the Executive House Hotel, all in Chicago. Other projects have included Juneau Village (Milwaukee, Wisconsin) Embassy Suites Southfield (Southfield, Michigan) Minnetonka Radisson (Minnetonka, Minnesota),and the Vista Hotel in New York. Mr. Ross was a founder and Vice Chairman of Jupiter Realty Corporation and its affiliated real estate companies until 2005 when he became a Principal and Founder of J. L. Woode, Ltd., LLC. Mr. Ross has served on the board of directors of several large public companies. He served as Chairman of the Board of Integon Corporation, a life and property casualty insurance firm in Winston-Salem, North Carolina until the sale of the company to GMAC. Mr. Ross was a Director of Huffman Koos, a retail furniture firm and Lake Shore Bank in Chicago, Illinois. Mr. Ross was a General Partner of PM Realty Group headquartered in Houston, Texas, and prior to its sale, was a major shareholder, principal and director of Washington Capital Associates and Washington Capital DUS, in Arlington, Virginia. Mr. Ross serves on the Board of Directors of Hostmark Hospitality Group of Schaumburg, Illinois, and Providence-St. Mel School in Chicago, Illinois. He previously served on the Real Estate Advisory Board of the Kellogg School of Northwestern University. He is active in charitable endeavors through a family charitable foundation. Mr. Ross is a native Chicagoan, and received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology. In 2007 he was honored by IIT with the IIT Collens Alumni Award of Merit.
