For performing companies, we look to capitalize on our network and industry expertise to add value and help the business reach its full potential through our capital resources and strategic support. We prefer that current ownership or management invest alongside Traverse Pointe Partners in performing situations.
We also bring creativity and flexible capital to effectively evaluate opportunities in industries that are undergoing change or nearing an inflection point. Our open mindedness enables us to approach each situation independently and draw conclusions based on the specifics of any given opportunity. We are well positioned to thoroughly evaluate storied deals and provide quick, thoughtful feedback.
Given our operating experience and the restructuring background of several members of our advisory board and transaction team, we are receptive to challenging and special situations if we can determine a path to profitability. In these situations, we tend to prefer that the investment target have a robust revenue and/or asset base.
Below are several general financial criteria for Traverse Pointe Partners investments:
- Revenues typically greater than $10 million
- Up to $6 million of EBITDA
- Profitability not required for turnaround/special situations
